Decoy Deloy is back with a hot dose of Music News, brought to you by Hello Merch. Whether you’re looking to source, print, sell, or buy merch, HELLO has you covered. And this week at Hello it’s all about HEAVY METAL. That’s Heavy Metal, the debut solo album from Cameron Winter, frontman of Geese. Full of groovers, folkie ballads, and strange story songs, Cameron’s label Partisan records says the album, “draws on both the chaos of the road and Winter’s greater sense of existential dread.” Chaos and existential dread? Why does that sound so familiar?
In other news, Portland's Project Pabst goes down July 26 and 27 at Waterfront Park. Who's playing? Decoy fills you in.
And to close, on Tuesday, February 25th, Tim Heidecker and The Very Good Band came to Phoenix, Arizona to play The Crescent Ballroom with special guest Fred Armisen. Decoy shares his thoughts about the gig and explains why Heidecker's music is so surprising.
